In his new role Abdu is responsible for the portfolio of Services and Platforms. This comprises the lifecycle management for the service core of TDG, ranging from TV, Voice Data to OSS and Terminals. This also includes the corresponding infrastructure, IT governance and lab infrastructure and services. Automation, digitalization and cloudification are in the main focus of the core transformation.
Prior to his appointment as new SVP Services & Platforms at Deutsche Telekom Technik GmbH, Abdu served Deutsche Telekom Group as SVP Technology Architecture & Innovation. In addition to his role as group chief architect, Abdu was in charge of the strategic development and architectural evolution of all technology domains, technology Innovation management, patent management and standardization across the group.
He joined Deutsche Telekom Group in April 2018 from Huawei Technologies. In his role at Huawei, Abdurazak was serving as Vice President of 5G Europe responsible for the development of Huawei’s 5G product and market strategies in Europe.
Prior to joining Huawei, Abdu was lead consultant responsible for the Network and Infrastructure Competence Center at Altran Germany, at the time parent company of Arthur D. Little (ADL).
